From Idukki
to your kitchen
ANOWAR SPICES sells one spice: green cardamom from Idukki, Kerala, India. We sort it, grade it by pod size and pack each grade separately, so the pack you order is the grade on the label.
How we pack it
- Step 1
Sourced in Idukki
Our cardamom comes from the Idukki hills of Kerala, India's main cardamom-growing district. Every pack ships from our facility in Kumily.
- Step 2
Sorted by hand
Pods are hand-sorted to remove splits, empty husks and off-colour pods before grading.
- Step 3
Graded by pod size
Grade is set by pod diameter in millimetres. 8mm and above are the boldest pods with the most seeds and aroma; 6–7mm is our value grade for everyday cooking.
- Step 4
Vacuum sealed
Each grade is packed on its own, never mixed, in vacuum-sealed pouches from 50g to 1kg to keep the volatile oils in. Best before 9 months from packing.
- Step 5
GST invoice on every order
Every order is billed by AL-ANOWAR INTERNATIONAL (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED with a GST invoice, so retail and wholesale buyers get the same paperwork.
- Step 6
Shipped across India
Most PIN codes receive orders in 3–5 days. Delivery is free above ₹999 within our flat-rate zone.
